The Crossle 9S was one of the most successful sports racing cars of the sixties. In 2005 the FIA decided to permit original manufacturers to produce continuation cars to comply with their HTP requirements, providing the opportunity for the factory to build new cars, which they do to this day. This stunning example was the first continuation car produced and featured in launch magazine articles and track tests. Initially built with a BMW engine and FT200 the Crossle was subsequently fitted with an all steel long stroke Lotus twin cam and magnesium cased Mk 5 gearbox and raced with some success by its current owner. Fitted with a long range fuel tank and supplied with Avons, Dunlops and wets on three sets of wheels, spare dampers, ratios and rear uprights. As raced at Spa Summer Classic last year, this well known and very well maintained car has never been crashed and remains in excellent period specification. Price on application.
